Julie Meynard becomes Arval IBO Director
Arval, a full-service leasing and mobility solutions company that manages 97K vehicle lease contracts in Belgium alone, and 1.59m globally, has announced two new senior appointments.
Dan Boiangiu (pictured right) takes up the role of General Manager of Arval Belgium, and Julie Meynard (pictured left) becomes Director of the Arval International Business Office (IBO), representing 25% of the company’s total fleet. This follows former Arval Belgum MD Laurent Loncke’s nomination as the new General Manager of BNP Paribas Fortis Retail Banking.
Dan Boiangiu joined Arval in 2006 and became General Manager of Arval Romania in 2014. In 2021, he became the Director of the Arval International Business Office. In this position, Boiangiu drove a team of international fleet management experts, to support the company’s strategic international clients in their fleet, mobility, and energy transition needs.
Currently, in the role of Arval Consulting & Arval Mobility Observatory Director, Julie Meynard will become Arval IBO Director on March 1st, 2023. With a background in the business travel industry, Maynard has a wealth of experience of 18 years at Arval, including 10 years within IBO. Meynard will report to Bart Beckers, Arval's Deputy CEO & Chief Commercial Officer.
Both appointments become effective as of 1st March 2023.
