Karsten Seifert, Head of Volkswagen International Fleet, RaC & Used Car Strategy
Karsten Seifert (pictured) has been appointed as Head of International Fleet, Rent-a-Car & Used Car Strategy for the Volkswagen brand. Karsten Seifert (48) is taking over this new brand role after being responsible for market planning, fleet and used car business within Sales Europe the last two years. In his new function, he is responsible for setting up an international brand fleet structure to furthermore steer the fleet market successfully. He will also strengthen digitalization and future mobility solutions for the fleet market and will push the continuing used car strategy of the Volkswagen brand forward.
Karsten Seifert has a 20-years’ experience with Volkswagen and started his career within the finance department. After living in South Korea for setting up the business plan to establish the local national sales company, he gained international project experiences in India. Afterwards he took over the role as the Head of Market Planning for the Region North & South America.
Karsten Seifert brings, next to his great experience in sales and international collaboration, a lot of passion, motivation, power and speed to strengthen the future of the brand in terms of moving the fleet business of Volkswagen forward.
