Marco Lessacher (on the left in the picture) will take up the position of CEO at Alphabet International on 1 July, succeeding long-standing CEO Norbert van den Eijnden.
Mr Lessacher started his career at the BMW Group in 2007 and held various CEO functions, among others at BMW Financial Services and Alphabet Germany. He was subsequently responsible as Head of International Corporate, Direct and Special Sales at the BMW Group. Mr Van den Eijnden will leave his successor a company with solid business foundations. Today, Alphabet manages a portfolio of over 700,000 leased cars and light commercial vehicles of all makes. It is ranked fourth in the market worldwide.
Alphabet also includes various new mobility solutions like AlphaElectric, AlphaCity and AlphaGuide. Headquartered in Munich, it is now present in 28 countries.
