Sixt appoints Cedric Douls as senior vice-president at vans and trucks division

Since September 2023, Cedric Douls is the new senior vice president of the Vans & Trucks branch at Sixt. He is responsible for full Profit & Loss for the Western & Southern Europe markets.

Douls joins over from Europcar Mobility Group, where his latest function was Chief Commercial & Marketing Officer. Before that, he served more than ten years at Stellantis and left the automotive car group as director of B2B sales.

Particular attention to V&T

The Vans and Trucks division is a long-term growth driver for Sixt. Around the world, the company offers more than 800 stations for hiring commercial vehicles. It’s also a digital renting experience that must improve customer satisfaction.

Announcing record results for the second quarter of 2023, Sixt stated in its press release that “in the second half of the year, particular attention will be paid to the further scaling of the Van & Truck segment.” The company has found a match in Douls to drive this goal.
