Almy Sousa Magalhães (Philip Morris) is Global Fleet Manager of the Year

For the second time, the Fleet Europe Awards ceremony, held Wednesday evening in Barcelona, included an award for the Global Fleet Manager of the Year. This award was presented by Stefan Herbert (pictured, right), Senior Manager International Corporate Sales PKW at Daimler, to Almy Sousa Magalhães, Global Procurement Executive Fleet, E-Commerce and Distribution at Philip Morris International. "The right technology and the right leadership helped us succeed", Mr Magalhães said about his win. 

Mr Magalhães (pictured, left) leads a cost-efficient programme across 82 countries that shows excellent results in terms of driver safety and paves the way for the transformation towards new powertrains and an integrated mobility management. He manages a car fleet of 22,930 worldwide.

The runner-up for Global Fleet Manager of the Year is Franz Fehlner (pictured below, left), Global Category Leader Fleet Management & Services, Allianz Technology. He received his award from Dr Jörg Löffler (pictured below, right), CEO, Fleet Logistics.
