Veolia team is European Optimisation Fleet Manager of the Year

At the Fleet Europe Awards 2019 in Estoril, the title of European Optimisation Fleet Manager of the Year was awarded to Arnaud Willing-Salleron (pictured right), Group Fleet Director at Veolia and Wilfried Duchez Group Fleet Deputy Director, both at Veolia.

The European Optimisation Fleet Manager of the Year Award rewards the person or the team within a multinational company that has delivered  a substantial contribution to the company’s vehicle fleet strategy and execution in terms of policy harmonisation, process efficiencies, partner and supplier selection, data management, and cost optimisation, respecting the company’s overall strategy and business goals.

At Veolia, a water and waste management solutions company, Arnaud Willing-Salleron and Wilfried Duchez have managed to set up a centralised team called VEGA, 100% dedicated to fleet management and reporting to the global CPO of the Group at Corporate level. VEGA is in charge of purchasing (worldwide) and procurement and operational fleet management (France), including a common and unique tool (e-procurement), a unique car policy and unique set of processes for France. This is the basis for building operational performance and purchasing efficiency, using the 20,000+ vehicles of France as a platform to further optimise the rest of the Group.

The prize was presented by Nuno Coutinho (pictured left), Sales Vice President at DS Automobiles.
