Arval Poland celebrates 60,000th vehicle

Double celebration at Arval Poland: its fleet has reached the 60,000-vehicle milestone, and the company welcomed the 1,000th electrified vehicle into its fleet. That called for a gala event, at which Arval top brass was invited. Also in attendance: Yours Truly. Here’s an impression of an impressive evening.

For the leasing giant, those figures merely confirm its position as market leader in the country. Last year, Arval Poland experienced 18% growth. This year, it has a penetration in Poland’s corporate full service leasing market of more than 20%.

Hard work and loyalty

All in all, more than enough reason to invite its customers, business partners, employees, and members of the Arval Group Executive Committee - including Chairman and CEO Alain Van Groenendael –  to a gala dinner in the Polish capital Warsaw, on 14 June.

Introducing the event, Robert Antczak, General Manager and CEO of Arval Poland, praised his team’s hard work, as well as the loyalty of Arval’s Polish customers. Both especially valuable and rewarding in the fast-changing and challenging environment that we find ourselves in, with its long-lasting supply issues and surging interest rates.

Innovating the portfolio

For some local context: in Poland, the National Bank has increased the interest rate to more than 6%, which has an enormous impact on consumer behaviour and business continuity. Despite these challenges, Arval Poland has succeeded in growing its fleet and at the same time innovating its service portfolio.

Most notable among those innovations are Arval Poland’s e-mobility solutions and the pilot of a Mobility Hub, where customers can test and experience various e-mobility solutions on-site, including e-bikes and car-sharing. Arval Poland also offers mid-term rental services up to two years and used-car leasing.

Ownership to usership

Arval Group Chairman and CEO Alain Van Groenendael warmly commended Arval Poland’s excellent performance and innovative spirit. Mr Van Groenendael pointed out that Arval’s Polish subsidiary is proving its value and importance for the Group year after year.

After which Mr Van Groenendael and myself were invited for a discussion about the emerging mobility trends, most notably with the transformation from ownership to usership and the fruitful progress in electrifying corporate fleets across Europe.
