Shell Belgium widens fleet and EV offering

At the Brussels Motor Show, Belgian Shell has just announced that it is repositioning its fuel card for professionals and independents. It is to be called the Network Fleet Card. (NFC). Shell says that this move forms part of its desire to offer innovative alternative energies to companies and to reduce its own carbon footprint. The company wishes to gradually replace fossil fuel energy by others such as electricity.

The Network Fleet Card is now able to be used in service stations operated by DATS24 andLUKOIL, alongside the existing network of Shell, Q8 and Esso. This will give users a choice of over 1,500 sites in 2019 and more than 22,000 sites in Europe.

Speaking of the additional service stations, Laurent Charlot, Belux Director Shell Fleet Solutions, says: “Thanks to this new offering, NFC will help companies and independents to reduce their fuel budget by giving them acess to over 800 low cost service stations.”

Belgian Shell is exhibiting at the Motor Show alongside NewMotion, a subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell and owner of one of the largest networks of electric car charging points in Europe. Shell and NewMotion are presenting the latest technologies and the new generation of charging stations at the fair.
