Networking in the Fleet Europe Village

With a total of 55 exhibitors, the Fleet Europe village at the Fleet Europe Summit in Barcelona this week (November 27-29) offers delegates a chance to meet and interact with suppliers and fellow professionals in the automotive fleet and mobility industries.

By presenting new products and services in an enlightening and informal manner, exhibitors and attendees alike have a chance to network in one of Europe’s most interesting cities.

“We love the event. A lot of opportunity for networking, high caliber attendees and speakers, and I am looking forward to the Gala dinner tonight,” Geotab executive VP Dirk Schlimm told Fleet Europe.

The global telematics company is aimed at optimizing fleets through the reduction of fuel consumption, enhancing driver safety, and achieving strong compliance to regulatory changes.

Exhibitors

Among the automakers present at the event is Mercedes which, besides its car models, is promoting digital services aimed at ensuring company car drivers flexibility and transparency to assure streamlined mobility processes. Among its services are Moovel, Car2Go, MyTaxi, Chark.me and its Connect business.

Volvo Car Corporation is also present, featuring safety innovations aimed at avoiding accidents and technology delivered in a tangible way through Virtual Reality, along with the Volkswagen Group which is seeking to lay the foundations of becoming a lobal leader in sustainable mobility through its future program “TOGETHER-Strategy 2025”.

Other OEMs at the event are the BMW Group, Jaguar-Land Rover, Kia, Maserati, Maxus, PSA Peugeot Citroën, Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi, Tesla, Toyota-Lexus, and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA).

Meanwhile, leasing, renting, and mobility providers such as ALD Automotive and Sixt is also strutting their stuff at the event.

While ALD through its global alliance with Wheels Inc. and other partners is pushing to provide a comprehensive range of products for its clients, Sixt is offering flexible needs-based mobility ranging from a few minutes to several years.

Other product and service providers being featured in the village are: Alphabet, ARC Europe Group, ARI, Athlon, Autofacets, Autorola, Avrios, Business Lease, Cap, Edenred, Element-Arval Global Alliance, Ericsson, FleetLogistics, Kuantic, Leaseplan, Leasys, Mobileye, MovÍnBlue, Omoove, RS Automotive, SafeDrivePod, Shell, Solera Group, Targa Telematics, TMC, TomTom Telematics, TraXall, Ujet, and Vodafone Automotive.
