Sixt targets Van & Truck market, Geotab manages safe movement of remote workers
Upon presentation of the figures for 2020, Sixt also announced the Van & Truck segment is now represented on the Managing Board of Sixt SE by its own department, indicating the intention of Sixt to aim for long-term growth in this market, not least because of the rise of online retailing. The strategic objective envisages attaining a market-leading position in Europe as well as a relevant market share in the US.
The plan foresees extending the national and international product range with utility vehicles and trucks with a weight of up to 7.5 tons. Sixt also intends for digitisation of the fleet and its integrating into the mobility platform ONE to continually improve the customer experience.
Vinzenz Pflanz, President Corporate Sales, Sixt SE will discuss strategies to maximise fleet utilisation through flexibility at the Connected Fleets Conference at 10am. Stuart Donnelly (pictured, right), Sr Director Group International Sales, joins the executive panel on connectivity at 3.10pm.
