Unlike most corporate assets, the utilisation rate of company cars has escaped the attention of the fleet manager for a long time, not least because of the benefit aspect of the company car. The other reason is the absence of metrics and valid alternatives.
But the mobility industry is going through a significant change. Technology and alternative mobility solutions, which are the fundamental enablers of on-demand mobility, are reaching a more mature status. This is happening on top of a more generic and social trend of transitioning from ownership to usership, supported by the promotion and revival of cyclic economies.
All this pushes you as corporate fleet and mobility managers to reflect on your current strategies and prepare for the future!
