IFMI Masterclass: identify stakeholders, define strategies and ensure sustainability

Already in its sixteenth year, the International Fleet Managers Institute (IFMI) is organising a masterclass at the 2018 Fleet Europe Summit in Barcelona on 27 November, targeted at corporate fleet and mobility managers with an international scope.

In three sessions, fleet and mobility experts will present case studies, moderate debates and lead workshops to the benefit of the European fleet management community. Here’s a short overview.

How to identify and motivate the right stakeholders?

Three corporate fleet managers will share their views and insights. Jarno Pajunen (Global Category Manger, Nokia) will be followed by Ivor Johnson (Regional Fleet Director, Pfizer) and Kim Stenberg (Director Global Sourcing, Vestas Wind Systems).

How to match strategy changes with roll-out and implementation?

Global Fleet Expert Yves Helven will give a high-level presentation on the essentials of change management within the fleet and mobility transformation.

Subsequently, a panel discussion with Pim De Weerd (Global Commodity Manager, Philips) will take on ways to deal with change management and the implementation of a new fleet and mobility strategy in a complex business environment. The discussion is moderated by Mark Taylor (International Account Director, Athlon) and Marc Van Eck (Senior Business Development Manager, ALD).

How can a sustainable programme with attention for people, planet, profit and safety bring value?

Mathijs van der Groot (Senior Consultant, LeasePlan) and Nicolas Michel (Senior Consultant, Arval) present the trends that will impact the fleet and mobility strategy of international companies.

Their presentation is followed by three workshops that all participants can take part in. The first, focusing on people, is led by Microsoft’s David Omodei (Sr Procurement Engagement Manager). The second workshop deals with the planet and is moderated by Geert Behets (Head of Global Travel, Meetings & Fleet Management, UCB). Another workshop, looking at profit, will be led by Wojciech Regucki (EMEA Fleet Manager, Abbvie) and a final workshop, with a focus on safety, by Nikola Vuckovic (Manager EHSS & IFMS, Philip Morris International).

Certificates & dinner

This year, the certificates will be delivered to all participants at the official opening of the Fleet Europe Village, followed by the official IFMI dinner with the courtesy of SEAT.

The IFMI Masterclass is an organisation of Fleet Europe in partnership with ADL, Arval and LeasePlan.
