Enterprise goes Finland

Car rental specialist Enterprise Holdings has launched its brands Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car in Finland. The brands are available at nine new locations across the country, including a new site at Helsinki Airport. The nine new locations already operate a fleet of more than 500 cars and vans with plans to extend the business through further branch openings later this year.

This follows an agreement between LänsiAuto Group and Enterprise Holdings. LänsiAuto is one of the largest car dealers in Finland with sales of more than €300 million. The group sells some 25,000 new and used cars annually.

European expansion
Enterprise’s strategy is to extend access to its car rental services across continental Europe by partnering with experts in each country with a strong reputation for customer care. Enterprise Holdings and its affiliate Enterprise Fleet Management together offer a total transportation solution, with a focus on car and truck rental, carsharing services, corporate fleet management and retail car sales. Combined, these businesses accounted for $24.1 billion in revenue and operated 2 million vehicles in fiscal year 2018.

Customers using Enterprise, National and Alamo rental services in Finland will benefit from a number of global customer programmes. These include membership of Enterprise Plus and the Emerald Club from National Car Rental, both of which offer rewards based on the level of usage. The Enterprise family of brands is already available in more than 90 countries, of which 40+ are in EMEA.
