UK in autonomy mode

Perhaps it is not surprising, just a couple of days after the Brexit deal was signed, that we are talking about autonomy in the UK… It has been announced that next year, self-driving buses will be used in Scotland, on a route from the county of Fife, just north of the Firth of Forth, to the capital, Edinburgh. It has also been made clear, however, that during the test phase, a human driver will be in position to take over if the need arises.

In another move, self-driving taxis are to be used in parts of London by private taxi company Adison Lee, with the collaboration of Jaguar Land Rover and a technology company.
