Belgium increases professional mileage allowance

From July 1st, the mileage allowance that Belgian employees may claim for trips during working hours has increased, from €0.3573 to €0.3653 per km. The amount, which is indexed annually, reflects the amount that employers can use to compensate employees for using their own car, motorcycle or moped for work purposes. The allowance does not apply to the commute between home and work.
