Elettrify orders 380 e-bikes for new Italy bike share scheme

Elettrify orders 380 e-bikes for new bike share operation

Italy-based micro-mobility company Elettrify has placed an order for 380 e-bikes to make its debut in the bike sharing market.

The company already operates shared e-scooter fleets in 15 cities in Italy, and is now expanding its operation to e-bikes along the Amalfi coast.

The bikes will be supplied by Vaimoo, the connected e-bike sharing specialist, which already supports e-bike sharing programmes in Denmark, Netherlands, Sweden, UK, and Poland.

Alessandro Tordi, Co-Founder & CEO of Elettrify, said: “The Italian market is vast and mobility industry is just at its dawn. Elettrify’s objective is to offer shared mobility solutions in the cities in which we are active. Communities welcome us with enthusiasm, municipalities support our cause, partners believe in our sustainable model.”
