Ingenious new EV targets car sharing fleets
The Polish company Triggo has unveiled a tiny, ingenious electric vehicle targeted at car sharing operators and autonomous ‘robo-taxi’ fleets.
The Triggo can flex its wheelbase thanks to its variable geometry chassis. This means its wheels are wide for stability in every day driving; but for manoeuvring through congestion and for parking, the vehicle’s wheels fold into the bodywork so that it takes up similar space to a motorbike or scooter.
Triggo does not intend to make the vehicle available to private buyers, and says the vehicle is ready to go into production next year.
