Get to grips with Mobility-as-a-Service

What is it and what could it mean for you?

Download our latest E-Book all about MaaS

What is MaaS (Mobility-as-a-Service) and how can it benefit you, your corporation and its employees? Lots of people are asking these questions right now as sustainability has crept up the boardroom agenda. The thinking is that MaaS could be a positive option in the goal towards lowering carbon emissions.

But so far MaaS has overpromised and underdelivered. It started out as a replacement for the company car, at least that was the perception, but it hasn’t ended up that way, and now it’s in danger of losing its lustre. But before we throw the baby out with the bathwater (an old English saying meaning to discard something valuable along with things that are undesirable), let’s just ask: is it MaaS that’s at fault or the perception of it?

You see, if implemented and executed correctly, MaaS has a lot to offer in terms of addressing climate change in transportation and the demands of a new (and growing) generation of company car-averse employees. But therein lies the crux; to make MaaS work - whether you are offering it as a revenue-generating service or corporate solution for employees - you need to secure stakeholder buy-in and overcome some pretty troublesome barriers.

To help in that respect, we’ve just released our latest (and penultimate) E-Book for 2022: Mobility-as-a-Service. In it, we take a deep dive into MaaS, firstly by clearly defining it and then take you trough the why’s, wherefores and how tos of MaaS design and implementation.

Here are some of the highlights:

  • The Benefits of MaaS: promoting MaaS to stakeholders
  • Platforms and options: Barriers to a Europe-wide mobility Super App
  • Technologies: New MaaS could revolutionise the way of transportation
  • Managing Admin and Finance: What can MaaS management manage?
  • Managing a mobility budget: the right steps to implement a mobility budget.
