Teresa Casulleras (Merck) is the 2022 European Fleet & Mobility Manager of the Year

The title of 2022 European Fleet & Mobility Manager of the Year was awarded to Teresa CASULLERAS, Group Sourcing Manager Travel, Fleet & Events at Merck.

The award was presented by Vinzenz PFLANZ, Chief Business Officer at Sixt.

The European Fleet & Mobility Manager of the Year award recognises the person with a responsibility and direct influence on the vehicle fleet programme of a multinational in Europe, and has been exemplary in deploying a programme that combines the strengths of overall procurement efficiency and supplier management with an optimisation of vehicle emissions and safety, and the attention for new employee mobility solutions, all the while respecting the company’s overall business strategy.

The jury was impressed by Ms. CASULLERAS’ hands-on fleet management approach, which is a combination of procurement harmonisation focused on decreasing the number of suppliers; the ambition to introduce eco-friendly vehicle and mobility solutions, but without negatively impacting the employee budget and benefit scheme; and a strong degree of fleet management control, based on enhanced digitalisation.

Ms CASULLERAS is responsible for a fleet of more than 6,100 vehicles worldwide, of which close to 3,300 in Europe.
