Bolt closes €600m funding round to expand European mobility platform
Mobility platform Bolt has closed a €600 million funding round, increasing the company’s valuation to over €4 billion. The funds will be used to boost Bolt’s new grocery delivery service (Bolt Market) and to accelerate expansion of existing mobility and delivery products.
The funds were raised from a range of investors including Sequoia, Tekne, Ghisallo, G Squared, D1 Capital and Naya.
Today, Bolt offers a ridehailing product, a carsharing service (Bolt Drive) and scooter and e-bike sharing. Its delivery services include Bolt Food, which enables customers to order meals from restaurants and Bolt Market, a grocery delivery service.
