FREE NOW mobility app secures London licence

Ride hailing and mobility app, FREE NOW, has secured a new three-year licence to continue operating in London.

The app, backed by BMW Group and Mercedes-Benz Mobility, enables users to book their nearest taxi, private hire or car sharing vehicle. It also includes micro-mobility options such as e-scooters and e-bikes operated by Dott, HumanForest and TIER.

FREE NOW has more than 56 million users in over 170 cities in 16 countries. In the UK, the app connects over 40,000 registered drivers working in nine different cities, and it has committed to invest and expand its operations in London and the wider UK market in the coming three years.
