Arval France appoints Chesneau as Director of Mobility Solutions
Arval France has appointed Jonathan Chesneau (34) as its first Director of Mobility Solutions. The appointment entered into effect on 1 September. The new function is designed to help Arval become a leader in sustainable mobility, as stipulated in its strategic plan ‘Arval Beyond’. Specifically, Arval’s French subsidiary wants to hit a target of 25,000 drivers who use mobility solutions in addition to their company car by 2025.
Towards that aim, the new Director of Mobility Solutions will lead the various Arval teams already working on various mobility solutions, be they car sharing, bicycle leasing, bicycle sharing, scooter sharing, two-wheel rental, and the Arval Mobility app (a MaaS solution), among others. In so doing, Arval wants to respond to customer asks in terms of cost control, electrification, and responding to employee expectations.
Mr Chesneau joined the BNP Paribas Group in 2018, first as International Business Manager at Arval’s International Department. In early 2022, he was appointed Head of New Mobility Sales Management at Arval France. Before joining the Grop, Mr Chesneau worked in sales and key account management at American Express. He is a graduate of the European Business School Master 2.
