Mobinck expands into Germany

Mobinck expands into Germany

After founding a German subsidiary at the end of last year and appointing a country manager in Michael Poglitsch, Dutch mobility specialist Mobinck has now established a physical presence in Germany.

Last week, Mobinck – a subsidiary of Autobinck Group – opened an office in Oberhaching, near Munich (pictured: that city's Allianz Arena). This will provide a presence on the German market for the company’s six brands: XXImo (mobility cards and smart payments), Moove (fleet management and keyless carsharing), XPO Fleet (fleet management software), Fleet Support (fleet management, outsourcing and advice), Toogethr (mobility and parking solutions), and SafeDrivePod (driver safety systems).

The unifying factor across Mobinck’s six subsidiaries is that they all help employers to craft a mobility policy that is both innovative and fit for their corporate purposes – and the needs of their employees. The geographic scope of Mobinck Germany will be wider than Germany alone. The subsidiary will also cover Switzerland and Austria. “In the past months, we’ve trained our team, now numbering ten, and acquired our first customers,” says Mr Poglitsch.

Mobinck itself is a subsidiary of Netherlands-based automotive company Autobinck Group. “Autobinck aims to remain a pioneer in international mobility,” says Paul Zekhuis, CEO at Autobinck Group. “Our mobility services are already being used in more than 30 countries. Coming to Germany is a logical step, as the German market offers a lot of potential for our services.”
