CarPay-Diem raises €1.2 million
Closing its second funding round last Friday, Luxembourg-based mobility start-up CarPay-Diem has raised €1.2 million in capital.
Among the new investors in the company, which specialises in refuelling applications, is CarStudio, the mobility investment subsidiary of Mobivia, a major player in multibrand vehicle maintenance across Europe.
“Apart from the financial aspect, our new partnership with CarStudio and the brands within the Mobivia Group – Norauto, Midas, Auto5 and Carter-Cash – will give us access to their valued experience in terms of mobility and vehicle usage”, says Frédéric Stiernon, founder and CEO of CarPay-Diem, runner-up in Fleet Europe's Smart Mobility Start-Up of the Year Award, last December in Estoril (Portugal).
The new funding comes hot on the heels of the announcement of a cooperation deal between CarPay-Diem and ZF Friedrichshafen, the German vehicle equipment manufacturer.
CarPay-Diem was founded in May 2016, and raised €500,000 in August of that same year. Last December, the company was one of the laureates of the Smart Mobility Start-Up Award at the Fleet Europe Awards in Estoril, Portugal.
