Is your MaaS solution a winner?

Smart mobility is the future. But if it were easy, it would be the present, not the future! So how do we get there? By generating competition, stimulating innovation and rewarding success. We call it: the Smart Mobility Challenge 2020. Is your MaaS solution smart enough to win?

“Build a better mousetrap, and the world will beat a path to your door.” So goes the quote often attributed to Ralph Waldo Emerson. Meaning: if your innovation can improve the life of your customers, they’ll know where to find you. Yes, that is true; but only if someone tells them about that mousetrap! And that, in short, is what the Smart Mobility Challenge 2020 is about.

The Smart Mobility Challenge 2020 is the first of its kind. It’s an initiative of the Smart Mobility Institute, in collaboration with its core members (Accenture, AstraZeneca, Danone, Microsoft, Nokia and Philips). The aim is to identify and reward the most innovative mobility service within the field of Mobility as a Service (MaaS) and link it to the growing demand for such a solution.

And that’s why we call on all mobility suppliers. You’re working hard to perfect the products and services that will revolutionise corporate mobility. Only, we don’t know it yet!

If you’re building that better mousetrap – in this case, a smarter solution for the benefit of corporate mobility – and you want the world to know it, you can win the Smart Mobility Award on 18 November, and the world will know where to find you.

Here’s what you do:

  1. Go to the Open Ecosystem Platform and register
  2. Go to the Smart Mobility Challenge
  3. Download the Application Form in the Resources tab
  4. Start a New Proposal
  5. Complete your Identification Details
  6. Upload your completed Application Form and your Proposal
  7. Submit!

The jury, composed of the fleet and mobility managers of Accenture, Philips, Danone, AstraZeneca, Microsoft and Nokia, will select suppliers with the most interesting proposals to pitch their innovation. The winner will receive the Smart Mobility Award 2020 during the Fleet Europe Awards ceremony at the end of the Fleet Europe Summit.

In keeping with the safety protocols regarding COVID-19, the application process, the product pitches and the awards ceremony will be all take place online.

Are you ready to change the world? Let’s accelerate innovation together!
