Hyundai welcomes new Santa Fe

The fourth-generation of the Hyundai Santa Fe was presented to the world today in Goyang City near Seoul. The 2019 Santa Fe combines a spacious interior with high-level connectivity and high-tech features like Rear Occupant Alert, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist and Safety Exit Assist.
The most noticeable part of the exterior design is undoubtedly the cascading grille complemented by the composite light that puts Hyundai’s large SUV on a higher level.

Variable torque control

In Europe, the new Santa Fe will be available with two petrol engines and two diesels. Petrol drivers can choose between a 2.4 GDI and 2.4 MPI power plant, while the diesel-powered Santa Fe is available with a 2.0 and 2.2 litre engine. Enhanced powertrains with six-speed manual and eight-speed automatic transmissions make the diesel engines more economical, while variable torque control with HTRAC (Hyundai TRACtion) combined with the drive modes improves acceleration, stability and fuel efficiency, increases traction on snow, gravel and on regular road surfaces and enhances cornering performance.
