SEAT maintains growth, invests in new tech
For SEAT, 2018 started with continuous double-digit growth figures across the world. In February, the company maintained the sharp increase in sales at the beginning of the year with 39,900 vehicle deliveries, which is 25.9% higher than the same month in 2017. The year to date sales figures rose by 23.1% to reach a total of 78,800 units.
The Spanish car manufacturer announced this year will be marked essentially by three milestones:
- The affirmation of the Arona as a top selling model in its segment.
- The launch of the new sophisticated CUPRA brand and its consolidation with the CUPRA Ateca.
- SEAT will also keep investing in CNG technology. The TGI SEAT’s range is now adopted by the Leon 5-door and ST and the new Ibiza. "Later in 2019, the Arona will also join the ecological way to go longer for less," commented a SEAT spokesperson.
