SEAT still growing in UK fleets
April and year-to-date sales results have moved SEAT up the UK market rankings, with the brand featuring in the true fleet top ten.
The Spanish manufacturer has recorded year-on-year fleet and true fleet sales growth of 14% and 42% respectively, despite the market seeing negative year-on-year results.
Following its biggest-ever product offensive, SEAT achieved record fleet sales figures with models like the new Ibiza supermini (photo) and Arona compact crossover.
The brand’s True Fleet performance in April saw it break into seventh place for the month, leading to a top ten spot for the year-to-date, bolstering the upward trajectory of the last 12-months.
Peter McDonald, Head of Business Sales at SEAT UK, said: “These latest results show that last year was no flash in the pan – SEAT has become a real contender for fleets across the UK by offering service levels and vehicles which really hit the mark. Our fleet offering has emerged as one of the most competitive on the market, with programmes including the four-day test drive scheme resonating well with fleet decision-makers, and the results of that are there for all to see”.
