Bruneel heads Donaldson's EMEA fleet

Donaldson Europe has appointed Véronique Bruneel (pictured) as Fleet Supervisor EMEA. Ms Bruneel is an experienced fleet and mobility management professional, with an international executive track record in HR and Fleet Management at Techne, Collibra and Barry Callebaut Group. Her new appointment is effective as from last month.

Donaldson, a global leader in providing engine and industrial air, oil and liquid filtration solutions, has its EMEA headquarters in Leuven, Belgium. From there, the company manages the 22 European countries in which it has employees. In her new role as Fleet Supervisor EMEA, Ms Bruneel will manage around 550 vehicles across 21 countries in Europe. 
 
“The scope of my mission will be to analyse the current situation and optimise it for the future,” Ms Bruyneel told Fleet Europe. Specific aspects include: “First off, policy evaluation – reviewing policies, working out recommendations, taking on board environmental and social responsibilities, for example with regard to CO2 emissions and EV policy. Secondly, policy adherence: putting in place processes and documentation to ensure compliance.” 

“Also: optimisation of day-to-day practices, handling of operational issues, defining appropriate service levels, transfer of knowledge, Adopting IFRS and GAAP procedures in collaboration with Finance, and last but not least: communication with management, employees and union representatives.”
