BYD - Shell Recharge: Charging Partnership with Benefits

Electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer BYD has announced on its website a partnership with Shell to provide customers with enhanced convenience for EV charging.

BYD’s customers in Europe will receive preferential access to the Shell Recharge network as part of a mobility service provider partnership with Shell.

The collaboration aims to simplify the charging process and expand access to a wide network of charging stations across Europe (500.000 chargers in the Shell Recharge network and 7000 ubitricity chargers in the UK).

This strategic alliance combines BYD's expertise in electric mobility with Shell's commitment to expanding the charging infrastructure.

Users of the “BYD X Shell Recharge” cards receive €0.15 per kWh off for DC charging at the Shell Recharge network.

As the demand for electric vehicles continues to grow, initiatives like the BYD-Shell charge cards play a crucial role in ensuring the accessibility and convenience of EV charging infrastructure.
