Fleet electrification is the focus as Mukul Patwardhan gets promoted at EATON

Having joined intelligent power management company EATON in 2015 as a senior analyst, Mukul Patwardhan has been re-located to Ireland and promoted to a new role as Category Manager - Indirect where his focus will be on fleet electrification, among other things.

In his new role, Patwardhan will be fully responsible and accountable for EATON’s fleet of 2,400 cars (and other categories) for the EMEA region. This involves developing and implementing category strategies with the focus on electrification. He will also be responsible for managing supplier relationships and delivering significant cost savings.

Developing a fleet roadmap to lower CO2

Commenting on his new role, Patwardhan said: “I’m looking forward to the challenge of developing the fleet roadmap 2025 and accelerating electrification in order to reduce our carbon footprint. I will also be focusing on policy development and ways to deliver savings while dealing with current issues such as long lead times for fleet vehicles.”
