Total goes further down recharging route
Total has announced that it is to extend its network of electric car charging points. The oil company used the electric vehicle show in Lyon – EVS32 – a few days ago, to state that it intends to develop a network of 1,000 very high power charging points (175 kW) within 300 charging stations in Western Europe. Total already has some 15,000 ‘private’ charging points within public bodies’ and companies’ premises.
Throughout Europe, the service offering proposed by Total in the domain of electric car recharging also includes the multi-energy Total Card, which among other functionalities, gives users access to 75,000 public charging points in Europe marketed by Total Fleet.
