Also at IAA: Porsche Taycan
The Tesla Model S first came out in 2012. Today, in 2019, it still doesn’t have a real competitor. The new Porsche Taycan may change that.
The Porsche Taycan promises 450km of range. That’s less than the range-topping Teslas, but it should be enough for most users. The entry-level model, which will cost around €100,000, won’t be available at launch so if you can’t wait to get your hands on one, you need to shell out €130,000 for the Turbo or 158,000 for the Turbo S. That places it well above the most expensive Model S, but does price really matter in this market segment?
