Electric Toyota C-HR in the works for 2020
Hybrids will account for half of Toyota sales in Europe in 2019, a year ahead of schedule, rising to 60 percent by 2021. Indeed, petrol mated to electric is the winning combination for the Japanese OEM, but that does not mean they won't go all-electric.
At the Geneva Motor Show, Toyota announced it will be developing an all-electric version of the successful crossover C-HR. This will debut on the Chinese market next year and probably come to Europe in 2021. In total, the company plans to sell 10 EV models globally by the early 2020s.
