Fleet sustainability at the heart of Fleet Europe Summit

Improving the sustainability of fleet, business and employee travel will be at the heart of the Fleet Europe Summit, as businesses face up to the challenge of shrinking their carbon footprint amid the climate emergency.

Emissions and electrification

With many leading companies setting ambitious targets to be carbon net zero, fleet, travel and mobility managers are urgently exploring all the options to lower Scope 1, 2 and 3 carbon emissions.

Electrifying fleet vehicles, sourcing renewable power, and transforming the way staff commute to and from work and travel for business are now at the top of corporate agendas.

Expert speakers

To address the issue head on, the Fleet Europe Summit has invited Uwe Hochgeschurtz, chief operating officer of Stellantis, and Marc Odinius, chief executive officer of Dataforce, to speak at the conference.

Stellantis is committed to become the motor industry’s champion in the fight against climate change, and has itself pledged to become carbon net zero by 2038, while providing its customers with sustainable mobility solutions. With a group that includes Alfa Romeo, Citroen, DS, Fiat, Opel and Peugeot, as well as leasing and mobility specialists Free2move and Leasys, Hochgeschurtz is ideally placed to address both the challenges facing employers and the solutions.

Dataforce is one of the primary analysts and forecasters of the European fleet and motor industry’s transition to zero emission motoring, tracking the adoption of electric vehicles by sector, sales channel (especially company cars) and country. For fleets that have not yet started the transition to EVs, Dataforce’s insights are unequivocal – by 2027 battery electric sales will account for 21% of new car sales in Europe, rising to 56% by 2030 and 80% by 2035.

The Fleet Europe Summit takes place in Dublin, Ireland on 16 and 17 November. Register now.
