With Leasys Mobility is sustainable
Leasys, leader in 360-degree mobility solutions and true to its pioneering nature, intends to contribute to disseminate the culture of sustainable mobility through the offer of new products, Green initiatives and infrastructure investments.
Its first step toward increasingly environmentally-friendly mobility was the electrification of the Leasys Mobility Stores, the Company’s physical retail locations. Leasys will have a network of 400 Leasys Mobility Stores and over 1,200 EV charging stations in Italy by the end of 2020 as well as 1,500 stores and 3,500 EV charging stations throughout Europe by the end of 2022.
In the Mobility Stores customers will find vehicles with 100% charged batteries and equipped with a charging cable to be used at LEASYS’s charging stations, at public charging stations, at home or at the office.
In addition, Leasys’s environmental commitment takes shape through the offer of simple and flexible mobility solutions. In the European countries where the Company is operational, long-term rentals are available for hybrid and electric vehicles of the FCA Group, with solutions tailored to specific customer needs.
One of the most successful products is Leasys Miles Hybrid ed Electric, the pay-per-use rental, where customers pay only for the actual kilometres travelled, thus meeting the need of people who do not use the car extensively in the course of a year, or only use it occasionally, and just want the driving experience without worrying about vehicle management.
Leasys aims also to have an increasingly green fleet. The objective is to have 60% of the entire fleet to be made up of electric or hybrid vehicles by 2021, thus reducing substantially the level of CO2 emissions. This also thanks to the new FCA models, including the electric Nuova 500 and the plug-in hybrid Renegade and Compass 4xe models.
With LeasysGo! in particular, which is available in Italy and will soon be launched in the rest of Europe, Leasys offers a completely electric car sharing service, with a fleet made up of just Fiat 500.
Lastly, Leasys launched at the European level, in partnership with Treedom, the “Bring a tree on board” initiative for customers who choose sustainable driving. Every customer that rents a hybrid or electric vehicle on a long-term basis can choose to plant a tree in the Leasys forest, thereby contributing to improve and protect the environment and to reduce emissions of carbon dioxide.
