Bridgestone and Bia partner to optimize fleet electrification

Bridgestone and Bia partner to optimize fleet electrification

Bridgestone Mobility Solutions (BMS), a business unit of Bridgestone, and Bia, a software company that built a platform to forecast, monitor and optimize EV charging, have entered a partnership to power and optimize fleet electrification.

Data from connected EVs will be used for smart, flexible charging solutions, helping fleet managers to reduce charging cost and CO2 emissions, and preserve battery health. In so doing, “BMS and Bia will work (to) ensure that the charging is cleaner, cheaper and available when needed”, says Candace Saffery Neufeld, Founder and CEO of Bia (pictured second from right)

“Our Webfleet EV fleet management solution already helps businesses at every step of the electrification journey (…) This partnership with Bia supports our ambitions to help fleet electrification, while utilizing data analytics to provide flexibility and optimization in fleet management”, adds Jan-Maarten de Vries, CEO of Bridgestone Mobility Solutions (first from left).
