Infiniti is finished in Western Europe, Q30 and QX30 discontinued

The writing was on the wall and yesterday parent company Nissan confirmed it: Infiniti will withdraw from the Western European market. Also, the UK-built Q30 and QX30 models will be discontinued in a few months.

In Western Europe non-European premium brands, including Lexus, are struggling to compete against local players such as Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz.

Infiniti's sales in the region almost halved to 5,800 vehicles last year. Infiniti will continue selling cars in Russia and Eastern Europe.
