DS 3 Crossback E-Tense EV lease less expensive than ICE-version

In France, the limited edition "La Première" of the electric DS 3 Crossback is offered in full lease from €546 / month, assistance, warranty and maintenance included. A first amount of of €6,000 is reduced to €0 after deduction of the French ecological bonus for rental agreements signed before 31/12/2019. The lease period is 48 months and 40,000 km are included.

As non-EV, the limited edition "La Première" exists only with a petrol engine (PureTech 130 automatic) and is offered at € 573.69, which is indeed more than the € 546 for the EV.  In this case, the lease period is 36 months, with an equal 10,000 kilometres per year.

PSA’s luxury brand DS clearly believes electric cars are the future, and with the E-TENSE strategy for energy transition, the brand will offer all of its new models in versions that are 100% electric or high-performance plug-in hybrid, with the DS 3 Crossback E-Tense, expected shortly, as the first 100% electric DS model offering an announced 320 kilometres of WLTP-range and a 100 kW electric power plant.

With the first DS 3 Crossback E-Tense orders taken at the Geneva Motor Show, the commercial offensive has now been extended for the French market to specific PSA Finance-leasing offers for the new EV in its limited “La première”-edition, that can be reserved online for a lower monthly lease rate than the gasoline version of the same model. A lower lease rate, and on top of that – logically – a better TCO given the lower taxes on EVs. Promising, to say the least.

The diesel and gasoline powered models are to be launched shortly, while the electric version should be available by the end of the year.
