ALD Automotive opens second Remarketing Centre in Netherlands

ALD Automotive has opened a second location in the Netherlands dedicated to selling former lease cars. The new site at Nieuwendijk will relieve some of the pressure on the first location at Meerker, which saw an increase in volume of 19% over the past year. ALD also expects further growth in ex-lease sales, due to the growth of its lease fleet. 

The Nieuwendijk site employs five and holds up to 200 vehicles, which should be enough to absorb the growth in ex-lease sales for the next few years, ALD says. ALD is not the only lease company selling ex-lease cars via its own sales channels. LeasePlan last week opened its fifth remarketing location in the Netherlands.
