Alphabet delivers 21 BMW i3 models to SWIFT

On Tuesday 5 May, specialist in financial messaging SWIFT started using 21 electric BMW i3 cars in partnership with leasing specialist Alphabet and BMW dealership Ginion Group. The company consciously chooses to make its fleet more eco-friendly. In addition, it is the largest fleet of electric BMW i3s simultaneously deployed in Belgium.

The whole SWIFT fleet consists of more than 950 corporate vehicles. As part of an ambitious mobility plan which includes significant '’greening’ of the fleet, the financial transaction specialist selected the BMW i3 with Range Extender.

“Our i3 project is a perfect match for SWIFT as an innovative technology company. It supports our ambition to reduce our impact on the environment. Our mobility plan is constantly evolving: this new initiative allows employees with a relevant driving profile to have a direct positive impact on our overall emission level. It will also ensure that more electric vehicles will be chosen in the future”, explains Caroline Ceustermans (photo), SWIFT Fleet Manager.
