How Autorola changed remarketing in the UK

Celebrating 10 years of business in the UK, Denmark-based Autorola can safely claim to have changed the face of online vehicle remarketing in the sceptred isle by providing an acceptable alternative to physical auctions.

Since its debut back in 2006, Autorola UK has gained the confidence – and the business – of no less than 10 manufacturers; Peugeot, Nissan, Skoda and Citroën among them. The company has also partnered with a number of supercar brands, and major car supermarkets.

“From the outset, our philosophy was to sell used vehicles online. Over the years, UK remarketers have increasingly accepted the speed and convenience of this, compared to physical auction”, recalls Jon Mitchell, Autorola's UK Sales Director.

Supported by 30 staff at its Macclesfield HQ, Autorola UK offers 15,000 vehicles for sale online to its 2,000 active buyers, for an average price per vehicle of £8,650 (€10,260).
“Online is now an accepted part of the UK remarketing channel mix,” Mitchell concluded.
