Mitsubishi France launches used car label
Mitsubishi Motors has launched a used car service specifically for France. The programme, reports Journal Auto (whom we also thank for the photo), comes in advance of the launch of the Outlander PHEV and the L200 and is designed to ‘add value to and guarantee used vehicles sold through distributors’. Quoted by the website, Jean-Pierre Vaillant, president of Mitsubishi Motors France, says: “The used car market is an important activity which enables dealers to develop the sales of new vehicles and to improve their own profitability. Thanks to the establishment of the ‘Mitsubishi Occasions’ label we are supporting our network and reassuring our clients”.
Mitsubishi Motors dealers commit to checking each used car sold with 100 points of inspection, to lend a replacement vehicle for 48 hours for each breakdown occurring during the guarantee period (excluding servicing and when the repair is carried out by the vendor), and put used vehicles on-line on the local Mitsubishi site.
