Nearly New Car to become Mercedes-Benz Certified

Nearly New Car's logo

Nearly New Car is to be renamed Mercedes-Benz Certified. That tweet by a marketeer at Mercedes-Benz Belgium has been confirmed by the organisation, but without further elaboration – whether the new name is limited to Belgium or will apply to other markets as well, for instance, what the philosophy is behind the name-change, or when exactly the change will take place. An official announcement is promised “within the next few weeks”.

Nearly New Car is the remarketing subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz Belgium Luxembourg, specialising in recent second-hand vehicles. NNCs have meticulously kept service records, for mileage, maintenance, registration date, etc. They have also undergone a rigorous 100-points check-up. Each NNC is fully documented and certified, protecting both consumers and dealers against used-vehicle fraud.

Buying an NNC comes with access to the Mercedes-Benz network of certified service stations, and provides the possibility to extend the warranty from the one-year legal minimum to up to three years, or 200.000 km.
