New white label e-commerce platform designed to help OEMs maximise RVs
Automotive IT specialist epyx has designed a new 'white label' e-commerce platform designed to help car manufacturers maximise their Residual Values (RVs).
“Many manufacturers are seeing their RVs come under pressure from greater volumes in the used-car market. This problem is expected to grow in the second half of 2015, with large numbers of PCP contracts ending and cars being returned”, said David Goodyear, Head of Business Development at epyx.
“Our white label solution provides an easy and cost-effective means of fighting this trend, giving manufacturers greater control over supply, sales and pricing of their used stock. By directing how and when vehicles are repatriated into the dealer network, they are able to keep residuals stronger.”
The white label solution is fully adaptable to OEM requirements, provides full inventory management and comprehensive management reporting. Trials with a major manufacturer show a reduction in overall cost of disposal and in days to sale.
