Spanish used car prices keep rising

Used car prices keep rising in Spain. As from June, the average amount needed to buy a car on the Spanish second-hand market is €12,187. That is a 6% increase compared to the previous month alone, and the fourth consecutive month of second-hand car price rises.

The most sought after cars are diesels with an average age of 7.5 years and over 100,000 km on the odometer. Diesel remains the favourite fuel type (66.5% of all second-hand cars sold), while vehicles over 10 years old still represent 47.3% of the entire second-hand market.
