Cars2click expanding into North America

Car-trading specialist Cars2click is expanding into North America. It’s a move spurred on by the current used-vehicle shortage, says Brian Madsen (pictured right), the company’s CEO, speaking at the Fleet Europe Remarketing Forum in Brussels today.

“Strange as it may sound, but that shortage is creating new opportunities to match used-vehicle supply and demand, especially with and in markets outside of Europe. As it is, we had already been expanding into Eastern Europe, and were sourcing vehicles from Turkey.”

“Due to the supply shortage of used vehicles, other, further markets are becoming interesting as well. We were developing a strategy for global expansion, but when opportunities present themselves, you have to strike while the iron is hot.”

Cars2click is already doing business in Asia, with an interest in setting up in Australia as well. Initial contacts in Canada are seen as the entry into the wider North American market.
