Remarketing Forum kicks off, focusing on powertrains
“Car Remarketing is an important and complex part of today’s fleet industry”, said David Baudeweyns, Sales Director at Nexus Communications, opening the Fleet Europe Remarketing Forum in Barcelona. “It will be an even more important – and an even more complex – part of tomorrow’s fleet industry”.
Several hundred remarketing professionals came together for the fifth annual Remarketing Forum, focusing on the challenges facing the industry today. “This day is about expertise. And sharing expertise”, said Luc De Moor, moderator of day.
A lot of that expertise will be about powertrain evolution, various angles of which will be examined in sessions covering the Forum almost until noon.
B2B, B2C and various other business models will be discussed, with high-level speakers taking to the stage later today.
The five finalists of the International Car Remarketing Award will present their cases to the Forum, highlighting the importance of innovation in remarketing.
Between sessions, Remarketing Forum attendees will have time to network, and to visit the unique Remarketing Village, where the event’s sponsors – Andex, Groupe Argus, Autorola, BCA, CARA, eBay Classifieds, IWS, Macadam, Manheim and RMS Automotive – are showcasing their products and services, tailored to the remarketing industry.
Closing the event will be a gala dinner and the presentation of this year’s International Car Remarketing Award.
“We are confident this is the best edition yet of the Remarketing Forum, but we want to make sure the next one is even better”, said Mr Baudeweyns, stressing the importance of feedback from and interaction with the remarketing professionals in attendance.
