Bdeo launches AI vehicle inspection tool

A new artificial intelligence (AI) solution is promising to eliminate manual and paper-based fleet management processes for monitoring fleet vehicles.

Bdeo’s Visual Intelligence can assess vehicle damage and estimate repair costs for vehicle fleets.

The technology is targeted at large leasing, rental and subscription fleets, for whom manual vehicle inspections are a time-consuming, unproductive process.

Visual Intelligence guides users through the inspection process, identifying vehicle damage and delivering an assessment that can calculate repair costs, determine whether a vehicle is fit to be rented again, and even recommend a B2C selling price if the car is no longer suitable for renting or leasing.

Bdeo has offices in Spain, Mexico, the UK and France, and already works with more than 50 insurance companies in 20 countries.

Julio Pernia Aznar, Co-founder and CEO of Bdeo, said: “We are delighted to be offering our Visual Intelligence solutions to fleet companies, helping them spend far less time on repetitive tasks, inspections and evaluations. By streamlining all of these processes with our AI-powered solution, fleet owners can see an immediate impact on business productivity, customer satisfaction and generate important savings, which is crucial during this inflationary environment.”
