Marcel De Rycker CCO at ProovStation

Marcel De Rycker (pictured) has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer at ProovStation. The appointment is effective from the start of this month. 

Founded in 2018, Lyon-based ProovStation has developed an advanced system for automated vehicle damage detection. In 2019, the company won the Fleet Europe Car Remarketing Award. It now has a presence in 13 countries across Europe, as well as the United States. 

Mr De Rycker, who holds an MBA from the University of Hartford (US), is an experienced hand in the automotive sector. He started out in several managerial roles at BMW France in the 1990s, followed by a stints at VW in France and Germany, and at GM in Germany and Austria. 

Following a role as Senior Manager International Corporate Sales at Daimler in the mid-00s, Mr De Rycker joined PSA Peugeot Citroën, rising to CEO of Peugeot Deutschland. 

Until earlier this year, Mr De Rycker was Managing Director at International Warranty Solutions, a provider of vehicle warranty programmes.
